Marigold Ointment


This is a recipe for a marigold-ointment.

It consists of marigold oil an beeswax as thickener.

Marigold is good against

  • Skin illnesses
  • Ulcers
  • Contusions
  • Wounds that heal badly
  • Eczemas
  • Bruises
  • Effusion of blood
  • Strain
  • Sore baby skin


Ingredients


How to do it

  1. Prepare the ingredients.
  2. Put the marigold-oil and wax into a jar.
  3. Put the jar into a pan with water and heat it.
  4. Wait until the wax is molten.
  5. Test the mixture on a cold plate.
  6. If it is too hard, add more oil into the jar.
  7. If it is too soft, add more beeswax.
  8. Pour the liquid ointment into a cream jar.
  9. Wait until the marigold-ointment is cold and gets harder.
  10. Close the cream jar and label it with content and acutal date.
