ointment This is a recipe for a simple basic ointment.

It consists of herbal oil an beeswax as thickener.

You can use it for all purposes where you want to apply an herbal oil comfortably to the skin. It leaves a greasy film on the skin.

Extension

The extension gets softer an easier to apply.

How to do it

  1. Prepare the ingredients.
  2. Put oil and wax into a jar.
  3. Put the jar into a pan with water and heat it.
  4. Wait until the wax is molten.
  5. Test the mixture on a cold plate.
  6. If it is too hard, add more oil into the jar.
  7. If it is too soft, add more beeswax.
  8. Pour the liquid ointment into a cream jar.
  9. Wait until the ointment is cold and gets harder.
  10. Close the cream jar and label it with content and acutal date.
